Vacation Beauty Haul & Review

Hey Boos, Sorry its been sooo long since my last post. I just got back from a little vacation, and thought to show you what i got on my trip, its a small haul but these products were on sale at Walgreens and I had to share with you girls, hope you enjoy :)

Products I purchased:
2 Wet n wild baked eyeshadow palettes that came with a free megawear mascara $2.99
Covergirl Smoochies Lipbalm - Smooch $5
Clean & Clear Moisturizer $5
Clean & Clear Cleanser $5
Clear & Clear Toner $5
St Ives Apricot Scrub $3

First thing i picked up was these marbled baked eyeshadows from wet n wild, they dont have names for the palettes but lets just call them pink palette and blue palette :) these shadows are very pigmented and you can use these dry or wet.

Baked eyeshadows, are generally hard in consistency when dry and creamier and more metallic applied when wet, so you are able to obtain two applications in one, a dry application that looks sheer, and a wet application with better color payoff, you normally tend to get a chrome finish when the wet eyeshadow is applied wet, and more of a satin finish if applied dry.

Some based eyeshadows are marbled to provide irridescent finishes like the ones i bought.

it also came with a free megawear mascara (black)
the next thing i bought was some Clean & Clear products. i been using the foaming cleanser for a couple of years now and thought to try out the other products from the collection since im having a great results with the cleanser :)
another skin care item i pick up was St. Ives Apricot Scrub, this has been in my skin care routine for years as well and its fairly inexpensive. I use this to exfoliate one a week.
the last thing i picked up, and was very disappointed in was the Covergirl Smoochies Lipbalm, i got the color smooch. even though it has pretty packaging and pretty colors, dont be fooled, the balms have a grain like texture and feels horrible on your lips. it would be better as an exfoliater for your lips then a lipbalm.
