L.A. Colors "Brush With Fame" Challenge #1

I’m obsessed with all the creative ways people are incorporating nail art into their mani and pedi designs! 

On of my favorites is ombre nails, ombre is such a sleek and classy look and you can still play around with unique details! Stripes, polka-dots, leopard print, and rhinestones give the trend even more of a WOW factor. I specially love the gradient effect, Its the hottest nail art trend of the summer!

As you can see Rita Ora really knows her nail art! to bold and colorful to a nude & sophisticated, this girl is definitely on her nail A game. I picked the most recent nail art to do my 1st challenge on simply because its stunning to wear and easy to create for beginners & Intermediates. This nail art look is from Met Gala Ball 2014 which she attended rocking beautiful gold yellow ombre nails to go with her amazing sequin nude gold dress.

 Products Used:

L.A. Colors: Color Craze Nail Polish in Glam (Big Glitter)

L.A. Colors Art Deco in Silver Glitter (Fine Glitter)

L.A. Colors Tripe Play Nail Treatment (Top Coat & Base Coat)

Instructions:

1. Apply your favorite LA Colors Base Coat to your nails! Let Dry.   

2. Apply your favorite LA Colors Fine Glitter half way on your nail. Let Dry!  

3. Apply your favorite LA Colors Big Glitter on the tip of your nail. Let Dry! 

4. Apply your favorite LA Colors Top Coat to you nails. Let Dry! 

5. Wala! your done instant, Rita Ora Glitter Ombre Nails!

  
Tips:

•  No glitter polish? You can use actual glitter or make your own nail polish from eye shadow.

•  There are so many variations you can do with this technique, be unique! Instead of a tip ombre try a bottom ombre for a bolder effect.  
• It is very important to apply a base coat before putting on your polish and applying a top coat after, not only does it protect from yellowing of the nails but also with a nice smooth healthy shine.
