Hey Boos, I recently purchase these two lovely palettes from elf cosmetics. I have to say I was always not so impressed with elf eyeshadows, usually they are very powdery, and chalky, but that was a couple years ago and there formula could have change, so since spring is right around the corner (well, for Florida it is lol) I thought to get these two palette for the pretty pinky and rose colors, which I love during spring.
e.l.f. Studio Prism Eyeshadow
These ultra-silky and lustrous eyeshadows look like a powder but feel like a cream, allowing for a smooth and flawless application. Use to contour, line, and highlight for a radiant finish. The luminous, shimmery formula creates a gorgeous range of looks for both day and night.
My Review:
I think that each palette offers unique, metallic colors that are fun and can be interchanged with other palettes and makeup. These blend and apply well. The color lasts pretty much all day. You can also use these shadows wet or dry, which wet gives it more beautiful bright metallic colors. Each have a lighter cream/white color for higlighting. All are very shiny and metallic. All are very true to color.

Review:
It's fair to say that most of the shadows are actually quite decent, although they were also a bit chalky. Pay-off was fine, and they blend VERY well. At least 6 colors are really chalky and suffer from a chronic lack of pigmentation. On the plus side, they had no blending issues but you have to expect that given that there's really not a whole lot to blend to begin with. It's a good starter palette, but nothing to write home about. But you really can't beat the price!
