LA COLORS 30 Color EyeShadow Palette - Back to Basics Review

Hey Boos, Happy Monday! Going to try to be on a roll here with my blog post, sort of get into a routine. Well, its working so far! LOL Anyways, Today I will be reviewing this NEW LA Colors Cosmetics 30 Color Eyeshadow Palette - Back to Basics. I was excited to try this palette out, mostly for the colors, you could call this a "nude" palette, but what caught my interest was, yea, its "nudey" palette but it also has a great mixture of colors in there too. I sometimes forget about color, ALOT! I just slap on some nude shadows and call it a day, but this palette will help me remember not to forget the color in my looks! I know, it sounds crazy but HEY! whatever works, right? Bring on the COLOR!!! LOL ;) Enjoy!

Review:
This palette has a great mix of brown tones and some color tones as well. Gives off the right amount of pigmentation with some fall out, go on pretty smoothly, look very pretty on. I have extremely oily lids, so primer is a must with any shadow (I use LA Colors Eye Primer in Nude) The primer will help lock in the shadow so that it can stay all day. They also blend perfectly together for a better application. The downside is the colors in this palette are all shimmer, which is ok, if your a shimmery kinda gal, but if you want to create a look with this one palette, a couple mattes will definitely be necessary. ( For definition and such..) Is this the highest quality shadow? No, but it's surprisingly good for the price, It's a good way to have some fun and try some different colors. <3

My Look:
I mixed so many colors to make this look, I first started off with the nudest shade I could find for my lid color, then I picked out the berry color at the top for my outer eye and crease and I patted on those colors. I  then blended the nude and the berry color together to make sure there were no harsh lines. While leaving the berry color in my crease, I picked the darkest brown I could find and carefully patted on the brown color on top of the berry color in my outer corner of my eye and began to blend those two colors together. I finished it off with a very thin cat eye, so that my cat eye was not so distracting from the look and colors itself. Kinda of reminds me of a geisha eye look because of the colors I used. It came out great! <3
